Linear Motor System

OTB's linear motor system, the LMS, is a unique magnetic carrier transport system. It is designed for in-line vacuum and non-vacuum product transport.

The modular design of the LMS in combination with a compact load-lock and masking mechanism allows unlimited combinations of vacuum and non-vacuum processes. The LMS in combination with OTB's ultra-fast deposition sources forms the basis of the in-line production system for solar cell manufacturing.
