Turnkey solar cell production solution

OTB Solar designed the LINEX , a fully-automated turnkey solution for solar cell production starting with the raw waver material, ending with sorted cells. This approach results in higher process yields and a reduction in operator headcount.

All transportation, sorting and handling is performed by an automated belt system without any operator interference, which results in a considerable reduction of the required floor space, higher product quality, increased uptime and a reduction in the total cost of ownership. OTB Solar has already installed two lines at Scheuten Solar in Germany and one at KPE in South Korea.

Mass scale production

Our systems are designed for mass scale production meaning, 24/7 production. OTB has developed two fully automatic production lines,  the LINEx1400 35 MWp PV cell line and the LINEx1500 40 MWp PV cell line.These lines are capable of running mono and multi crystalline PV cells and also 5" and 6" wafers.
