OTB Solar is a leading company in the design, engineering, development and manufactering of tailor made inline production equipment, which results in cost reduction and offers its customers the possibility to globalize their production. OTB Solar has as main goal to deliver “in-line” production solutions for the Solar market that results in a lower cost price per product. For our unit Pixdro we are looking for a:

                               “System Engineer”

With added value in a multidisciplinary project team

The job

As System Engineer you are part of a multidisciplinary core project team. This team is responsible for the successful execution of the project. Within this team you are responsible for overall system design and architecture, tuning concept proposals of the different disciplines (software, electrical, process) into one coherent concept, addressing efficiently all system requirements. This includes, setting up system specifications (functional and technical), organizing brainstorm sessions and design reviews. Further your responsibilities are risk analyzing, error budgeting, defining and executing tests, resulting in product assurance.

We ask

At least 3 years of experience in a similar job. Degree – higher vocational studies (HBO) or academic, in one of the following fields; Software, Electrical, Applied Physics. Multi disciplinary capabilities, capable of interfacing between disciplines, while maintaining a helicopter view on the system design. Strong in conceptual design and capable of putting ideas into practice. Specific knowledge of techniques which are in use in automatic production systems. Knowledge on thin layer deposition processes is preferable. Creative and a hand on mentality. Candidate should be a team player and be capable of leading the design process resulting into a successful completion of the system/project. Fluent in Dutch and English both in speech and writing.
